Description

So ready for Leafs fans to say there is no way this is enough....but it is when you are grossly over the cap and no chance to sign him. I actually think the 4th rounder is generous given the context.

This of course assuming Canes feel they can sign Nylander to an extension under $10m per year

The rest is a dump...don't care about the teams so feel free to suggest others

The Hawks would be all over this, the question is, why would Carolina want to basically give away Teravainen?

The leafs are not grossly over the cap. And Pesce doesn't want to sign in Carolina so he has no value.

In combo with $5.4m expiring and wanting an upgrade at forward. There is a real possibility that Turbo is playing 15 mins a night on this years team.

Explain to me how Pesce's situation is any different than Nylander's? Both are pending FA's after next season and neither have signed yet. According to your crowd, Nylander doesn't want to stay and therefore has no value. So why does Pesce?

13.5 million for Matthews.
10 million for Nylander
That leaves 23 million for 3 top 4 defenders, 2 top 6 wingers, 4 more forwards, and a starting goalie.
