I think Minnie is only team to consider the trade, the rest of teams don't consider it

Why would Buffalo trade a young Center who’s part of our core,
for an injury prone winger who’s overpaid

6 goals and you get a 1st rounder that everyone wants and a 3rd round pick.

The Sabers have a lot of talented players and not all of them will be able to play in the top 6. Anderson is a good complement, playing a physical role and having good skating.

Monahan could become an in-demand player by the trade deadline if he has a good season (around 45 points) and stays healthy. Monahan becomes a very interesting depth player for a team that wants to make a good run in the playoffs.

anderson has one of the worst contracts in the entire league lol why on earth would buffalo give up a valuable young player for a cap dump .
Typically the team dumping a bad contract has to give up assets, not get a great one in return

Krebs > Anderson defensively. Krebs will also be much cheaper long term. As you said, not all can play in the top 6, and for Anderson to be worth it he would have to be, and he wouldn’t.

Krebs anchors our defensive line & is part of our core
Anderson anchors your DL

He’s ALL YOURS

“But Krebs doesn’t fit in your top6, so that MUST mean that guys wanna give him away for an oft injured player with a contract we’d love to get off our Cap”

So the team with the best center depth in the league will pay their top young forward and a pick for a depth center? Seems unlikely.

I know very well that Krebs > Anderson. We will not persist for that. On the other hand, as I was saying, the Sabers have a lot of talent and will at some point have to pay for what they have too much to meet other needs. Anderson is not a star player, but certainly a good quality player.

I don't know what your problem is. There is no real DG on this site, and if you are one, you are very bad to waste your time here. We are here to chat and have fun. You have the right to disagree, but if you cry like a baby every time you disagree, that's no fun.

Yeah, and so is Krebs. If Buffalo can’t afford everyone, why would they want the more expensive, not as good player
