With all your upcoming RFAs is that really a good idea?

Sabres shouldn't be risking a first and then QO LAF next season at over 6m. Try 4.3m X 2 and it only costs a second rounder.

Maybe, if Rangers can afford it. Gee if the Sabres or any team want a LWer sign Tatar

Why would anyone trade quality futures for a bust?

I just don't think he seems willing to sign a prove it deal. He's going to be 33 and I believe if he were willing to sign less than 2.5-3 area he'd have a contract.

But the Sabres are one of few teams that hae the cap right now for Tatar or any UFA.

Hmm? So what? BUF aalso has the cap space to match, and a deep prospect pool if we decide to take the draft picks instead. We've got 3 guys who won't be going anywhere in Dahlin, Power and Levi. Anyone else and we would happily just keep our cupboards stocked depending on the offer sheet.

But, I have no idea why BUF would offersheet Laf, at all, but especially at this price. F is just not a need.

Go offersheet Bouchard.

What's ridiculous amount of money? He can fit making $10mm. Anything like $12mm and I probably take the 4 1st round picks.

Alexis Lafreniere reminds me of Sam Bennett but a little less versatile he's worth something but I'm not sure he's worth that unless you are sure he has a couple more levels in him.

It’s not getting matched.. no GM in the league would pay over 2.1M for him and anything under 2.5 is matched. OS isn’t an option in the real NHL, only on here. Laf likely signs a bridge in the 1.7-2.1 range

This wasn’t done by a Sabres fan
VERY UNLIKELY we’d have any interest in Lafreniere at all
