If I'm Detroit I'm easily declining (unless it's Swayman). Makes no sense for this team to buy a rental goalie, regardless of implications.

Ship him off to a team that's going to be competitive this year.

Sorry for the yelling and it's not just you I've been seeing it a lot. Most people see it as Detroit having 2 1st rd picks. If Boston finishes in the bottom 10 they keep their pick and Detroit has the option to differ until next year giving up Boston's 2025 1st unprotected.
