Sorry but ANA is the wrong trade partner if Girard is the contract you’re trying to move on from. ANA has an excess of highly promising undersized dmen in their pipeline. As evidenced by their moves to target the likes of Gudas and Lyubushkin, they can’t take on any more.

Value is totally reasonable though. Just need to find a better team fit

We're rather fond of Helleson, see no reason to send him back, and as Jded pointed out, we're not the right fit for Girard.

He's on a reasonable contract, a contender would take him for a load of draft capital if that's what they need

We are just fine with the current Helleson trade results, not looking to rewrite history!

Funny how the four of us see things so similarly, and I'll bet that our esteemed colleagues @Salzy and @Lenny7 would agree. Right value, wrong fit -- Girard will get you more from a different team.
