If I'm colorado I'm salivating over those 2 2nds.. turn them into another toews or starting goalie

Yotes could do well getting Boeser & let him get on track. Dumba helps D depth & lessens winger logjam & cap space used there. The pick probably makes this worth thinking on.

Sam Girard just doesn't fit the defensive system in AZ, decent player but not a fit. That cost is steep for him as well. 1 second and 1 roster player would be more in line with Girard's value.

Dumba is more useful as a veteran to help guide the young D-group in AZ. If we are honest Boeser is a guy that has always underachieved on the expectations. He is what he is, an overpaid 50pt winger. I doubt there is any "get on track" to be had at this point.

I would take Broberg in a heartbeat, this price is about on target as well. Stecher got traded then resigned with AZ as a choice so that says a lot about him and trading him again would be a kick in the teeth but business is business. I have long thought that Broberg and Valimaki would be a prime pairing. This is a trade that AZ would seriously need to consider.

I’m working on an Avs playoff lineup for this year and a separate one for next year. I’m forgetting which one I did, but one of them I have Avs getting Boyd. I think he’d fit the system extremely well and I would be comfortable coughing up a 2nd and a decent prospect for him.

Think Hronek trade....1st and 2nd. So two seconds & Boyd would be reasonable.
