fleury should not be there. had a few good runs for sure, but he has been horrible in the playoffs more than half his years, he is often the main reason his teams was elimimated.

Where’s Heiskanen? Bias aside as a Stars fan, he should 100% be there.

Apart from Karlsson in 2017 and arguably Makar in 2022, there have been no defensemen better than bubble Miro in 2020. He led the Stars to the finals at only 20 years old. Last year too he had a great playoff performance (minus the fact he was playing with the worst defensemen in the NHL at that time.

Pavelski too should be on here as he has the most goals out of all the current players in the playoffs.

In the past 3 seasons combined (minimum 15 GP), only Makar (1.22 P/GP) and Fox (1.15) have outscored Bouchard (0.93) among all defensemen league-wide.

Letang will be 37 when the playoffs start and hasn't been much of a force in years.
Burns will be 39 when the playoffs start and scored 0.60 P/GP last year, his first postseason in years.
Karlsson hasn't been in the postseason for like 5 years and his career scoring rates are lower than Bouchard's.

I don't know who Bouchard replaces but I wouldn't have any of these three guys in my top-5.

LOL no. McDavid elevates his game in the playoffs, nobody is close to him besides Draisaitl. In the past 3 years McDavid has scored 1.78 P/GP, Draisaitl 1.72, MacKinnon 1.24. MacKinnon isn't even the top player on his own team - I'd have Makar (1.22 P/GP) over him, and you could make a case for Rantanen (1.30) too.

A lot of legacy players on this list that don't deserve to be here.

Crosby hasn't been past the first round in 5 years. They didn't make the playoffs last year and he was underwhelming in three of the 4 years they did make it.

He's not a top 5 playoff performer anymore.

Palat easily over Marchand and Benn. Point is hard because he's better than pretty much all the wingers but I can't argue over the Centers. Krejci is in that same boat.

If it's based off right now I wouldn't have Kane, Benn, Giroux, Krug, Varlamov, on this list. It's based off ppg/60 out of all active players. This is based on all these guys careers.
