The title is end of season, so guessing they're suggesting it's a TDL move. Guessing if the Wild run a minimal roster to bank some space, they might be able to take on a ~$992k player at the TDL though they're certainly not giving up 3 picks for Monahan. I could see any one of those 3 picks being the return depending on what kind of season Monahan has, but let's be real if he's worth Minnesota giving up a 2nd some other GM would likely give up a 1st. Minnesota isn't in a position to be giving up a 1st just yet.
