He’s a 60pt play maker exactly what they need on line 2

Eyssimont very possibly becomes the skilled playmaker we need. Is he 2nd line proven? No. But this is a ton to give up. We now only have 1 skater on the bench. And this creates another massive problem. Stamkos and Cirelli aren't wingers. Stamkos can play wing, but he's better in the middle. Cirelli needs to be in the middle. From what I know about Middlestadt, he's a center not a winger. So this leaves us with too many guys who belong in the dot. Point, Stamkos, Cirelli, Paul, Glendening, potentially Eyssimont. Add Middlestadt to the mix and it gets trickier

Actually, Mitts was much better last year playing on a wing than at C, but this trade is still WAY MORE than he's worth.

No way does Tampa move Cirelli out of the 2C spot. And doubt anyone is paying anything close to that package after one good, healthy season.

ACTUALLY, Mitts was OUTSTANDING when he played Center for us
Filled in on the top line when Thompson got hurt, and was so good, that when Thompson came back Mitts stayed in the 1C role & Thompson played RW2

Tampa declines, as it's far too much to give up for just one season of good numbers(and health). Not to mention, if he did have another good year this season, there would be absolutely no chance Tampa could re-sign him given their projected cap situation for next year after re-signing Stamkos. It's far too much to give up for what amounts to a one year rental.
