Agreed. Never should have been let back into the league in the first place.

I feel like this is GMJK's last year to make something happen, would suck for him if Babcock does more damage than good. Unfortunately, for GMJK I don't think he can just get a mulligan on that signing unless it comes from the NHL/NHLPA that he acted out of line. Even then I don't think ownership will be too happy.

It’s funny they wonder why things never improve in the league, yet they continue the coaching carousel instead of trying new people.

that AZ trade is decimating CLB draft capital. For AZ they are at limit on roster and contracts spots, and that gudbranson 3x 4m is ugly

Fire Babcock???? I agree with that he should never be a coach in pro hockey. Partly because he is a poor coach.
But why is Jarmo and Davidson still employed by the CBJ. They should have been fired before Babcock was even hired.

Agreed. I was just having the same debate but in regards to GM's. Either the same GM carousel or the same TYPE of GM's (ex-players, etc.), over and over. Gary Bettman is not fit to be running a major sports league, and most of the people working in the NHL are not fit to be managing, coaching, or mentoring professional athletes or people/kids in any way shape or form.

So far, Luke Richardson is an awesome HC. I don't know if he'll be the guy when CHI is competitive again, but for the rebuild, development, and culture purposes, he is a great fit and a super good guy.

Definitely would help the blackhawks if he does good,hall-bedard- and maybe an all star if they do go for a wildcard. Or a 15-8th pick and they trade up. Give the dude they draft a few years to play. Or see if kane wants to join back, which I don't think will.

Nah. They won't sign Kane. Also, CHI isn't really better than last year. I doubt they sniff the playoffs, BUT, I think they will keep games interesting and competitive even in games they ultimately lose, much like last season. Which is still a good sign that his coaching style is effective, even if they don't have the talent to win games.
