I believe it was him on 32 thoughts said something about OTT wanting to move cap out in any trade for Pinto. Which honestly doesn't make sense to me because the whole point of moving out cap at this juncture is to be able to sign Pinto.

Pinto is worth at least that but he won't necessarily get it because values change over time. Which is why if Laughton was placed on the trade market today he would get very different offers. Trade value is a fluid thing.

There are like 9 teams who are over the cap and has to make a move, 14 teams that would have to send out a dollar for every dollar they took in and about 9 teams who could possible take in some cap - so if any team thinks they are going to get rid of cap and be overpaid to do so they are living in a dream world.

You do understand that that wasn’t a straight up trade right? It was considered to be pieces of a trade. As things have unfolded, I think you can safely assume that the other portion of that trade was Sanheim and Krug.
