Why they desperately want to shed cap and they shed 3.5M doing this and they get out from myers contract too Brodie is worth a first half retained and we’re taking back a cap dump of 6M for two years

Getting rid of the first is a no go unless its for an elite guy which brodie is not

He was the best defensive defender last year but yeah I guess he’s not elite but elite defenders cost a lot more than a first

The players I listed have NMCs.

The teams I listed either don't have the cap space or are not getting enough value.

and Tanev is better than Brodie

Also a contender makes that trade, not the Canucks; maybe if there in a playoff spot at the deadline but now its a pretty bad move for VAN

They’re basically the exact same Brodie has been a top 3 defender 2 out of the last 3 years tanev has been all 3 of the years but never first like Brodie was last year

The blue jackets have enough space and AM ain’t sticking around for a rebuild true Washington doesn’t have enough space but I didn’t know who to take back I figured they could trade some players to figure it out

lol the caps don’t even think about that trade. None of these teams on the receiving end do. Clear troll post. Good job 👍🏼

C'mon give up it...these are horrendous. Why would the Capitals spend a first rounder on Bertuzzi for one year when they could have signed as UFA.
Matthews ain't waiving to last place team. CBJ keep Fanelli and spend 10m in. cap next summer onm a UFA.
I could contlinue, but eyes and hands or sore with this post.

Wait. Hold up. In another thread you said you'd want two first round picks in addition to Bo Byram for Nylander. But here you're willing to give up retention and Nylander for Ryan Leonard? I'm confused.

Very much doubt Columbus doesn’t jump all over Matthew’s, Matthew’s wouldn’t stick around for a rebuild and Bert half retained is worth a 1st all day long

He’s a forward and can mostly replace what nylander brought by next year

Just lets say for the sake of the argument all of these trades go through, you still have less draft picks then Arizona 😂😂😂 amazing

But....he's not a lock to do that. There's a good chance he could get there, but the number 8 overall pick isn't a guarantee by any means. Ignoring the fact that Washington isn't going to trade him, giving retention in this deal feels not great for Toronto.
