Switch Kelly for Sokolov, then, Sokolov on the 4th line and MacEwen only in situational games.,,

That is pretty much an ideal roster for myself.

I like it though.

The lines can be shuffled accordingly.

Nashville is very full on RD. As for Kubalik, I'm not against it. Just not if it's a high price. We don't have a need for him

I'd say NSH takes this. I like idea of having Brannstrom play RD in NSH though, simply because of how much of a logjam NSH has at LD. Brannstrom walks in arguably the best RD in NSH. Kubalik could also be moved with retention at the deadline if NSH wanted to move him

Price is probably fair for Nashville. Just creates a lot of work for them to get everything to work out. Already have 4 rhd at the NHL (Fabbro, Carrier, Barrie, Schenn) and 3 LHD (Josi, McD, Lauzon) so we for sure have to move a couple to make sure Brannstrom plays games (i dont want him in the pressbox). Kubalik gets flipped at deadline to recoup much of the cost here as well. Overall i think Nashville does it if they like Brannstroms potential but it does create alot of work

Branny is a left shot D, and he'd be an improvement on Lauzon

He plays better on the right side, and we have too many puck movers. Lauzon is fine as a 3rd pairing thumper who can clear the crease. We need his size

1. On a 2 year deal, Pinto will want 2.5 million

2. Nashville declines because Brannstrom would probably be the Preds' seventh defenceman.

Nashville should absolutely take this. They could easily make double ROI

I personally would trade Kubalik for the best pick I can, and then take my time to trade Brannstrom when a team offers a good young forward

Based on?

And Brannstrom is more than a puck mover, he's excellent defensively, had top metrics both ways last year
