Not a huge return really. Depends on how petersen, errson look.

Goes along with rumours that OTT is looking at Hart, but pinto/joseph arent the return

From what I've heard, Korpisalo came to Ottawa because him and Forsberg are buddies/old teammates. Trading him might cause a problem with Korpisalo and since Hart is a UFA agent at the end of the season it might be risky for Ottawa.

That being said, Ottawa probably accepts without the above variable.

Edit: My bad, Hart is an RFA at the end of the season, still risky however.

If that’s all we get for Hart you just keep him. It’s not even worth trading him if the return is that bad. Bury Petersen in the minors and just use Hart Ersson. Kolosov will still need a season in the minors next year so u are still two years away from really deciding who ur tandem needs to be

Tampa Bay probably declines. After signing DeHaan, there's really no need for Seeler any longer.

Ottawa accepts.

And trading Carter Hart isn't exactly a "small move".

There's rumors about that?

This is surprising as they just signed Korpisalo for 5 years, seems like they made their choice

Forsberg is also a good cheap 1B stop gap while Sogaard and Merilainen continue to develop, 2 guys they are really high on

Yeah RFA and will most likely want a significant raise, something that doesn't fit much for Ottawa as they will need all the cap space to replace Tarasenko adequately (and hopefully upgrade him to a better 2-way winger)

Value is good though as they can afford to trade Brannstrom to make a roster spot for Kleven, but a subsequent goalie trade will have to happen

Pens would likely accept but, of course, would depend on Carter waiving
