Description

Zegras doesn’t accept Anaheims low offer, gets traded to Buffalo.
Gibson, waiving for a team close to his hometown of Pittsburgh gets sent along with Zegras to be Buffalos starter.
Olofsson gets moved for cap purposes to Chicago for a cheap good bottom 6 player, Chicago gets a player who they can flip at the deadline

The undersized Defenseman we don't want, a cap dump AHL goalie, and only 1 first round piece doesn't come close to getting this deal done.

Take out Raddysh going to Buffalo and Hawks probably still decline. They'd get a better pick just by trading TRad than they'd ever get from flipping Olafsson.

Given we have no cap or roster constraint to need to get rid of our "cap dump" goalie, we wouldn't feel the need to take a lesser return for Zegras in order to move him.

But neither UPL or Comrie make enough to be “Cap dumps”
And we have plenty of Cap room anyways,
in real life AND in this ACGM

Can afford to fit under the cap and are willing to take on underwater contracts without paymebt are not the same thing.
