NO way WAS trades sandin for klingberg and AZ isnt trading durzi and 2nd (plus they paid 2nd to get him) for 33yo Brodie

My bad I thought it was a later round. Straight up trade than. Should of never traded Sandin

The caps aren’t moving him. There’s zero incentive to make a move that includes Sandin going out. It’s absolutely going to have to be more than the Caps paid to acquire him 6 months ago.

Caps just paid Erik Gustafsson & a 1st to get Sandin at the deadline last year; I don't know why they would accept anything less than a 1st+ to send him back.

Similar thoughts to the Arizona side of it - they just paid Montreal's 2nd for Durzi a couple months ago; I would assume you would need to offer 1st round value to them to get them to move him before he even touches the ice for them - especially when you consider they'd be swapping a 25 year old making $1.7M with RFA rights for a 33 year old on an expiring $5M deal.
