We threw a lot of kids at the champs. Bahl was rough tonight, but Hatakka looks sharp. Wonder if he gets start over Foote when Miller returns.

Maybe foote gets played against teams that are slower, and you play hatakka against the Colorado, NJDs, Edmontons of the world

Fitzy extended long term and give President of Operations title. Why now?

Maybe one of a couple of possible reasons.

1. It’s a little like the oxygen masks on a plane. Gotta do himself first to he can help the team. Now he has the mandate, he can extend Dawson, McLeod, whomever.

2. His authority to hire and fire coaches is reaffirmed.

Not to sound too tin foil hatty but i REALLY hope this has nothing to do with the WJ investigation seemingly coming to head very soon, it does seem a bit suspicious that Dube and Hart have taken a "leave of absence" from their respective teams in the last few days
