Curious, would the Sabres be willing to trade Comerie + Okoposo + one of Benson, Savoie or Kulich for Allen + Barron + 2nd? I doubt it would be Benson seeing as he was just drafted and has likely the highest ceiling but think it's a fair question as it helps both teams. Buffalo gets a decent backup to split games with Levi, a good young NHL ready RHD with top 4 potential and an early 2nd. Montreal gets a good winger prospect but takes on more cap and waives both Okoposo and Comerie.

Little bit of chaos going on in the new home of benson’s jr team, with the head coach all ready suspended, old nhl coach Kevin Constantine. I wonder if they keep him for 9 and possibly get him out of junior team situation.

I doubt it. Allen doesn't inspire any confidence, and okposo got brought back by the team, like for leadership or something. I kinda like barron, I don't think the Sabres are gonna sell on benson or kulich. I can see savoie, ostlund, or Rosen being moved for the right deal.

Savoie plays for that team to.

Either WHL or NHL for Savoie. Shoulder Injury might have derailed him being here this year or a chance to be here.

They might make a trade like that for Saros or Hellebuyck, certainly not someone of Allen's caliber

Fair enough, Allen wasn't good last year but he was pretty good the previous two years in a backup/mentor role. I think if he is limited to maybe 30-35 games and has a good defense in front of him he wouldn't be so bad but I get the hesitation on trading for him. I also forgot that Okoposo is the Sabres captain and was brought back specifically for leadership, my bad for missing that one.
