There's a lot of M-NTC that torpedo that Anaheim deal, but centering the trade around Wright is the right idea.

Lol what a brutally bad Pinto deal. This is very clearly awful for Ottawa

Even if you remove Pinto, not sure what’s the point for Ottawa… might as well keep the cheap defensive Dman

Also not sure what is the point to spend time on this when you have no idea of some players and their values

The only trade that makes any sense is the FLA one. The rest are either awful for Seattle or awful for the other team.

What an overpay to get Zegras and Fowler, and what an underpay to get Pinto. Ottawa laughs in your face, and Anaheim accepts and laughs at you. Not even going to say anything about that Konecny trade, because that's just straight up messed up.

Lmao I get what you're saying, but you get offered 3 good picks for Bernard-Docker you don't hesitate.

Lmao I get what you're saying, but you get offered 3 good picks for Bernard-Docker you don't hesitate.

I also understand what you're saying but here's the list of Sens 3rd round picks since 2000:

Jan Bohac, Neil Komadoski, Arttu Luttinen, Philippe Seydoux, Shawn Weller, Peter Regin, Jeff Glass, Vitali Anikeyenko, Eric Gryba, Kaspars Daugavins, Louie Caporusso, Zack Smith, Jakub Culek, Chris Driedger, Jarrod Maidens, Marcus Hogberg, Miles Gendron, Leevi Merilainen, Oliver Johansson, Oskar Pettersson, Tomas Hamara

The only true successful pick here is Zack Smith. Peter Regin could have been, maybe Driedger, Merilainen and Pettersson will be but the chances that we get a prospect as good as JBD (as unspectacular as he is) are still very low, even with three 3rd round picks. If the 2024 draft is known to be very deep then maybe it's a better gamble.

I know JBD is not really the type of player fans rave about but he has ONE job : keep the puck out of the net.

He doesn't have any standout skill and he is "boring" but he can still do that job efficiently. During his rookie season in the AHL, there was a big stretch of games he wasn't on the ice for an ES goal against. That's what he can do and you need this type of player as well

They have drafted him in the first round, spent years and ressources developing him and will now start playing regularly in the NHL (1-way contract). Trading him now for meh lotto tickets would be very counter-productive. He has been in their plans for a while and the hope is that he first replaces Hamonic ehn maybe Zub if he progresses enough

Flyers don't need Wennberg, they are rebuilding.
