Description
If we dump both Chiarot and Fabbri in the offseason, can we afford to re-sign everyone else and add one of the top tier of free agents available? How badly will it cost us to dump those two after the season or at the deadline?

Neither of these happen. Chiarot is a dump, and Fabbri is also probably a dump considering his injury issues.

Yes, they can sign Nylander without dumping them, considering the cap will prob go up more than that and Fabbri will probably end up on LTIR.

Too much $$ for Berg, Raymond and Ras.

Keep writing Danielson off. He’ll keep proving that he’s an exceptional hockey player. Already the best 200 ft player in the organization.

Whos writing him off? hes only a 19 year old kid that was just drafted.

It is a fact that he is currently not a 2nd line center in the NHL. Could he be? for sure.

“Any time soon”? Do you only characterize this current year in that statement? If so, silly to think they NEED a second line centre for this season unless you’re the .01% that thinks they should be trying to win the cup

This is for next offseason. Another year for Danielson to improve and one less year left on Chiarot's contract.

Sure. Again, you said anytime “soon” and still haven’t defined what you meant by that. Typical on capfriendly to not stand by things you say by using ambiguous wording. But by end of next season, I’m actually betting on it so I’ll stick a bookmark in this.

Why so salty? Im stating my opinion on your lineup. Do I think hell be the 2nd line center this season? no. Do i think hell be the 2nd line center next season? no

    End of story

Edit: youre right. Typical cap friendly where I have a simple opinion on a prospect, and some dude starts spazzing on me. Tip, disconnect your heart from your team. You wont get so insulted next time

Hold upppp. I’m simply pointing out you didn’t define an ambiguous term you used. There was no salt here. You still chose not to define what you meant. These are just facts. Then you told me to bookmark it and I said sure. So now you have (somewhat I guess) defined soon as these next 2 seasons. So we have our crux. I believe one thing and you believe another. Only time will tell. Like I said, I believe before the end of the next season he will be a second liner on Detroit. That’s my opinion on the prospect. You disagree. That’s fine and you’re entitled to. Again, time will tell and one of us will be right/wrong.

But come on dude, to say I spazzed or am salty - I would recommend to reread our conversation here as I have only tried to understand your side of the argument by getting you to define an ambiguous term you used.

    -This isn’t my lineup either
