The Wash trade never happens and oh ya the 2024 1st is top 5 protected IMO.

Habs only take Kuzy if Washington pays them, they're not giving anything up for him

Hart isn't worth the Habs 2024 pick by it's self

Dude unless that goalie is Sorokin, Shesterkin, Oettinger or Vasilevskiy they don't have that high of a value.
Especially an unprotected in anyway 1st in 2024

The money doesn’t work at all and Dvorak is a major downgrade from Kuznetsov. With no retention, or retention through a third team, yes the trade could work. The caps aren’t rebuilding so they’re not gonna move him for a cap dump and futures.
