It's far more likely that 1st will be Boston's and not Detroit's.

Detroit is more than likely going to finish in the bottom 10 and if Boston does as well you get Boston's 2025 1st unprotected and I think that is the way it will work out best for Ottawa probably getting a top 10 pick.

Yeah and if Boston misses the playoffs and the Detroit 1st is worse, Sens can still get a pick in the 11-16 range which is still solid

It’s fine we’ll get Mews or a solid RD in the draft . We aren’t moving either of our 1sts. We are taking the best RD available and best forward on the board

Ottawa isn't trading any 1st round pick, Jarventie, Greig, Kleven, Ostapchuk, etc to move Joseph's contract

Actually, they might not move Joseph at all because they want to have him.
