Because Monahan was signed as a UFA after the UFA period was opened, I don’t think they’re allowed to trade him before a certain date (Jan1?).

Can someone else confirm that?

Even if they keep their 1st... It will be a futur waivers player.

It's gonna cost them a 1st to move Joseph. They're running out of options if they want Pinto to play.
Can't believe how dumb Dorion is to have messed up his math on the Cap...

They’re not gonna move Joseph. Someone else is most likely to go

Who? Only other logical option is Kubalik.
If not him, it's going to be an illogical option (Zub/Chabot/Batherson). (Chabot is no longer most important dman on the team).

Brannstrom or Kubalik but I can’t see it being Brannstrom anymore after the players they waived

I'd rather not move Joseph at all but with Dorion, nothing makes a lot of sense so who knows?

and BEFORE they play their 23 years old season!

Yes Kubalik. But with Dorion it could be another boneheaded move though

Watch him trade Drake Batherson for Scott Laughton

Perrault is out top RW prospect and while he's been unimpressive in the A so far, he also entered as a double underager due to COVID shutdowns in his own league. We have a new coaching staff down there who will get him in the right path. Most importantly, he's still waivers proof and we're still jammed up at wing with Silfverbwrg and others.

This deal doesn't work for us.

Honestly no. Wasting a retention spot to help the sens. Huge no.
