    Calgary won't be retaining 12 million when Kadri fits the team a bit better(if Kadri is traded Backlund is 2c, which isn't ideal which is why we signed him) and we don't need more wingers with the logjam we have in already in the NHL and prospects. Doesn't make sense

    Its helps when your backup has been retired for 2 years because of injury.

    Penguins decline big time. They literally just signed Jarry to an extension. Have no need for a 5mill back up.
