I'm convinced after watching Roslovic this preseason that he's never going to change. He's a highly skilled player but has no compete.
Joseph has a very high compete level and is pretty good defensively (and elite on PK), Sens really don't need a Roslovic type. Not doing this deal at all

I'm not sure who would want him, but it looks like he could be a good fit for OTT who could use some more skill in their bottom-6. Robinson is likely gone after this season so Joseph can replace him.
Bad fit for Ottawa, this doesn't even save a million (and can easily afford Joseph after this season)
When everyone is healthy :
Tkachuk - Stutzle - Tarasenko
Kubalik - Norris - Batherson
Greig - Pinto - Giroux
Joseph - Kastelic - MacEwen
No since they wouldn't be cap compliant if Pinto signs over 1.5 and if Norris is not on LTIR, Jarventie (who looks dynamite with Batherson) could replace Kubalik, or have Giroux in the Top-6 :
Tkachuk - Stutzle - Tarasenko
Batherson - Norris - Giroux
Greig - Pinto - Joseph
Smejkal - Kastelic - MacEwen
Either way, if Norris is on LTIR, Pinto will be signed without the need of trading anyone. If he is not, then there's still a lot of options. Joseph is more need for ES defense and PK. No PP ice time available for Roslovic as well.

Moving Roslovic is addition by subtraction. He doesn't work, his focus drifts, and he misses defensive coverages regularly. Joseph is overpaid for a 4th liner, but at least he has a good work ethic and more skill than Olivier, which I think would improve this 4th line.
Not a 4th liner at all though. 4th liners don't average 30 pts per 82 games, particularly when it's not even the best part of their games.

Not sure why CBJ does the Ottawa deal... also doesnt even solve the Sens issues but im sure theyd do it
Dorion does a lot of blunders so nothing surprises me from him but personally, I have ZERO insterest in this
