Nashville are in the worst division in the league, they can be easily on a playoffs race.

I belive Trotz will makes onther 2-3 trades for his team to be in that race. But I personally belive that's can be too much. I can make somes adjusments.

I'd stay far away from Stamkos at that cost and for that Roster Spot and at that age. Stamkos doesn't even play on the 1st line in Tampa, Montreal needs to contend for it all not just a playoff spot.

If Stamkos comes to Montreal it'll be when they are a true contender and he's ready to sign for a vet minimum.

Lol what..........

Stamkos will likely reach the 80 pts mark and he is not washed........ Tampa put him on the 2nd line because they want to balance their top 6.

Just look how many years he signed, and MTL will likely been a playoffs team during 25-26. He will bring somes leadership for this team.

Don't forget that's extremly possibe because St-Louis and Lecavalier are on the Habs organisation now.

I never said he's washed, but the Habs will be doing themselves no favors paying Stamkos for what he is now. The NHL is changing, if any team wants to win they have bet on potential, pay for it and hope that the potential exceeds the pay. Stamkos could very likely be worth 7 million but I doubt he's worth more than that at 35, 36 and 37.

Stamkos is considered for being one of the best players in the past 15 years, and I belive he will be as good as today for the next 3 years.

I understand your point, but Stamkos have more chance to continue what he did, I don't see any scenario that he will slow down his points productions.

You know we kind of agree right. Stamkos can be as good as he is today in 3 years. But a good GM wants to get value out of the contracts, if you're paying 7 Million you're hoping for 9 million in value.

Do you play fantasy hockey? to win it certainly helps if you pay for 3rd round talent but get 1st round talent. My thought on Stamkos is you can pay him as a 3rd round talent, but that's his ceiling. I would absolutely take Stamkos on my team if I could get him for a late 4th or a 5th round pick.

Flyers are likely to agree. The picks are nice, the prospect is nice, and the extra pick to take back Allen is fair.

Stephenson probably gets a bigger contract, back to back 60+ point seasons, and 20 points in the playoffs last year.

Savard doesn't make us contenders. He's washed. We already have a big DFD who can't skate in Schenn.

No reason to pay two seconds and Carrier to downgrade

Buffalo doesn’t want a more expensive version of Jost. They’ll keep the one they have.
