Will progress ? In fourth months, he will be at 30...........

And generaly, the peak of a player is between 26 at 32.

I mean, there’s a good chance this deal looks bad when he’s entering his late 30s. But for the heart of the cup window, this is a steal

He and Makar make arguably the best D pairing in the league and he loves the Avs. This is a deal you just get done and deal with the potential falloff in 3-4 years.

He’ll be worth the money and then some over the course of the deal. He’ll be worth $9-9.5 the first 3-4 years, about the aav for 2-3 years then below the last year or two. And just looking at the capfriendly home page, Owen power will make 1.1 million more a year over that span and buffalo is basically hoping he becomes toews.
