No a chance COL is taking Suter and honestly I don’t know that Bourque is the best fit stylistically, throw in trading with the primary division rival and this is an easy no from COL.

As much as I hate Suter, I hate the idea of losing Bourque and good picks over acquiring a relatively expensive player that is not even needed even more. Don't think COL is interested either.

NSH trade makes no sense from DAL perspective either.

I mean rn that top 6 doesn’t look too goof right now.. Really need a top 4 guy who can eat 20+ minutes per game.

I agree. Imo Girard is the wrong target for that however. Should be a puckmoving RHD that isn't a liability on his own end.

That's the big question isn't it?

Ideally I would've wanted Severson but he never reached the free agency. And after Nill decided to keep Suter around DAL couldn't afford to get a new guy.

Whoever is it, it won't happen until Suter is out, and he's untradeable. Maybe Nill finally decides to buy him out next offseason and DAL can get their guy via free agency - someone like Pesce might be available and he'd be an amazing fit to play with Miro imo.

yea I would've bought him out the first thing last offseason, but Nill decided against that. Now DAL gotta suffer the consequences.

They then moved Miller witch made the defense considerably worse.

Well Miller was the 7th D in the team already in the playoffs, he wasn't much of a difference maker.

They're putting more trust on Lundkvist this season, which I'm both happy, and concerned about.

Agreed, after giving up a 1st for Lundkvist you really need to give him the tools and the playing time to succeed. He should be good playing with Miro
