Hell no h2o. Myers is here to stay unless the season bombs. But it wouldn't be a cap move. Van already took care of that.

Don’t see Vancouver having too much interest in this. The only reason might be cap space, but they can’t get that from dealing other guys for useful pieces. Myers at least plays every night, but Zaitsev can’t even crack the one of the worst defence corps in the league. Just doesn’t seem to have any logic here. I have a hard time believing Zaitsev is moveable at all to anyone, maybe 50% retained for a low pick but still he’s not really useful anymore

Right now defense isn't really their issue. The 3 rookies are all playing pretty dang good. I'm not going to pretend to say they're...good... but it's not the worst.

Vancouver easily declines. This is a significant downgrade to their D, despite the added cap space. Zaitsev isn't an NHL caliber D man, and every GM knows it.
