Regardless of whether Sillinger or Pinto is better, since they're both too young to know what either will be in their prime, you're also paying a team help you out of cap hell. By all means, stay there. Have fun wasting a year of Pinto's career!

the "cap hell" exists exclusively in the matter of signing Pinto. trading Pinto doesn't "solve" that issue in any meaningful way lol. there are plenty of ways the Sens can make the room without just trading away the player that they're trying to sign. are you just being obtuse on purpose?

I would also say that Columbus needs to make space on their roster and doing a 2 for 2 doesn't accomplish that.

So how high are they now on Sillinger? My guess is that they are quite higher on Pinto

Personally, very hard to decide on this but would need to remove the 3rd and Roslovic. I would instead want Texier

Pinto, Kubalik, 2nd for Sillinger and Texier

If not, I'm ok with simply trading Kubalik for any pick and sign Pinto
