I haven't been able to catch a game yet. Is he looking like the Gost of past?

I’ve only been able to see highlights since I’ve either been working or playing my own game. But 3 points in 3 games and plus 2 is a pretty good start.

Zero reason for the Canucks to do that. Garland is a good player making a fair cap hit. Chiarot is an awful player who’s way overpaid

As nice as this would be there is know way Vancouver even considers this. Besides I think they are looking for an RHD anyway.

The Canucks aren't going to move Garland for a way worse player who has the same term and money on their contract as he does. The only way they trade him is for cap space or a solid RD and Chariot offers neither of those. Canucks pass.

He's been really good - skating well, passing well, great on PP entries and at the point on the PP as well. We haven't had an offensive Dman like him since maybe Green?

This team is night and day compared to the last 10 or so years. I was at the NJ game sitting next to a random Wings fan and we couldn't believe what we were watching (in a good way).

He is here as a hired gun. Most likely he will be moved at the deadline, freeing up a spot for one of the kids coming up.

Good as he may be; re-signing him just makes it harder for our younger guys to make the team.

If you ultimately end up not contending what would be the price on him at the deadline?
