What is the problem with the trade?

What is the logic behind thinking that Lindholm would end up with the Flyers? I can't see Lindholm wanting to sign and trade to the Flyers, and I can't see the Flyers wanting Lindholm as an expiring UFA if he doesn't.

Unless you're thinking that the Flyers flip Lindholm on a sign and trade of their own which nets them more than they would get for Konency on his remaining term. But that's pretty galaxy brain, even though it could be possible. But they'd be majorly in the hole if Lindholm burns them and walks, because Konency is their best player

If they trade Lindholm its for futures and the Flyers would want futures for TK anyway. Adding Coronato a trade isn't something the Flames should ever consider doing. Also trading a top 3 goalie prospect in the world for a 4 liner is not a good decision. I know you aren't a Flames fan but surely you could still see these are bad trades.

Really can't see the Flames doing this but I'd jump all over it if I was the Flyers. Coronato is a blue-chip prospect and can sell Lindholm for more futures. Organization is high on Ersson but they have plenty of goaltender prospects in the pipeline that I wouldn't mind moving him.

Yes Dustin Wolf is a top 3 goalie prospect... in 2021 he is behind Askarov, Waldstet and Cossa

These Trades are incredibly bad for the Flames and lopsided in PHI & ARI’s favours

Maybe you don’t know Coronato & Wolf and the hype around them or that Dryden Hunt’s Wife is from and they live and have made a home in CGY

Also, it makes no sense. Lindholm isn’t going to want to play for a rebuilding Team and the Flames would now need a Centre far more than a RW if they move Lindholm

No, you should probably see where Cossa is now. A lot changes from year to year. He was playing in the ECHL last season. Fingers crossed he rebounds

You may want to brush up on your research as it’s dated. Look up who the AHL Top Goalie and MVP of the League was last season. Only reason Wolf isn’t in the NHL is because Markstrom has a NMC and we’re waiting to trade Vladar for his proper value

Removing Coronato would remove all incentive for the flyers to do that trade.

Couturier isn't injured and even if he was they would have no need for Lindholm because flyers are rebuilding.

They had no idea how good Wolf would be yet. -/ he only had 3 AHL games under his belt when they brought Vladar in to be the backup

The better question might be why did they re-sign Vladar then to which I would say Thankfully that GM no longer works for the Flames. We’re trying to move Vladar to make space for Wolf, but haven’t received the right offer yet and there’s no rush. Wolf is Young and continues to get tons of playing time

Why does every team think they can get Krebs for almost nothing. He’s a good defensive forward at 22 years old. Vlader is worth a 3rd, maybe 2nd at most if Cal finds a desperate team.
