I don’t see the Avs doing that right now if RyJo or Colton falter maybe but not now.

The center depth would be great. Also buys Ritchie some more time to develop instead of forcing him towards the 2C job by the time RyJo is an UFA.

I mean, it would be another stupid asset management from Dorion but if it comes to that, it's an offer we could live with. At least next management would have some picks

They don't have to force Ritchie into the 2C spot when Joey is up; Colton is sitting right there but that would put Pinto in as 3C which is right up his alley. Plus, I can't see them trusting a young guy as 2C; we all know what happened to Newhook. If they do bring him in after this season, it would probably be on the wing but they may send him to purga-, er, uh, Loveland first.
