If Quick keeps playing like he has NYR won't need veteran goalie.

No need to waste a pick for a backup goalie. They can just sign another or give Garand a chance

MTL won’t trade Anderson for a 2nd especially if they have to retain.
Haters say what they want but analysts and sport writers who actually get paid for their opinions have all said there are many teams that would be interested in Anderson just as MTL has been keen on retaining him. I figure he sticks around la belle province for a while longer.

Anderson was worth "three 1st rounders" not too long ago. Devils probably add both Hughes brothers.

He was invisible in Toronto, but he was great last night against Columbus. I feel he and Slaf will break through soon. Hoping they swap Newhook & Monahan though.

I feel like that may be a mistake. That third line is really clicking atm to break them up now…

Bad defensively, Terrible playmaker.

He can skate (in a straight line) and hit. That's about it.

There's hundreds of better wingers out there.

Especially ones that aren't at that cap hit with that much term at that age.

But devils fans (and every other fanbase), have explained countless times to montreal fans that nobody wants josh anderson

Not going to sit here and argue his value to a team with someone that literally said

All I’ll state is his stat line. In 69 games he scored 21 goals and laid 139 hits. Sure we’ll keep him.

Yes those are the only 2 things he does effectively. Hits don't provide much, if anything in terms of actually winning.

93 points in his last 223 games while getting approximately 2 minutes per game on the PP. While being **** defensively
