Not enough for Pettersson, but I would take Dvorak for Beauvillier. I might even retain a little.

Canucks shouldn’t take Dvorak. He’s overpaid and not any better than Suter/Lafferty

Which team would give more than a top 6 C on a decent long term contract, a top 4 RHD prospect and a top 10 pick for Pettersson? And what would that offer look like?

I mean, MTL could add another pick, but i think it's as close as any team would offer.

Vancouver isn't trading Pettersson so to start its going to be an over pay, you need atleast one bluechip piece, the price would like revolve around Dach, Reinbacher and 1st atleast, it's expensive to aquire a young top 10 C in the leauge especially when Vancouver is competing we have no reason to trade him. Any offer Is going to have to be a no brainer yes or else we aren't interested, honestly if Pettersson was available many teams could make a more attractive offer than this I.e Columbus. There is just no value here for us to downgrade pettersson into suzki

U do realize that VAN is under no obligation whatsoever to trade him…. RIGHT ?!

To me, Suzuki and Barron have a higher value than Dach and Reinbacher, you can have them instead if you prefer.

In both case, MTL is offering 3 top 6 / top 4 pieces for 1 player.

For now they don't. If he says he won't extend this summer, they might have to.

You seem angry, but it's not like i offered Anderson and a 2nd... That offer is decent IMO.

Yeah, we get that it’s your opinion
No one agrees with you though

I’m a Sabres fan, so i have no dog in this fight
But teams will LINE UP to make offers to VAN if- and it’s a big IF- they actually decide to trade Pettersson
You’re gonna have to outbid about 20 other teams who will be interested- & there’s zero chance your offer get him- IMO 🤣

Better than yours imo, but I’m not gonna delve too deeply into hypotheticals
Point is, your offer absolutely won’t get it done, IMO

I didn't make this ACGM, but this is a better offer than what FLA paid for Tkachuk.

1- no it’s not, Huberdeau was a HUGE piece at the time & no “huge” piece is being offered in these hypotheticals

2- comparing trades like that is foolish, since the circumstances of said trade will be different than the hypothetical one- and the circumstances will affect the return value
