Sens aren't taking a massive downgrade on their Blueline and trading their only good RHD to turn Rourke Chartier into David Kampf lmao

Sens don’t do this

Jake McCabe is quite decent, Kampf is a good defensive center BUT :

- Sens are NOT looking to add cap

- McCabe is ANOTHER LHD... Zub is our best RHD by far. Sens just can't trade him

- Kampf would be limited to a 4th center role in Ottawa, no need to pay that much for that role, Chartier has been doing an impressive job defensively

McCabe is a good all-D defenceman, but the Sens just have no incentive to do this. Zub doesn't make much more than McCabe, and is the only solid RHD on the team. definitely can't afford to move him for a LHD, even one who is comfortable playing on the right. If the Sens ice 5 LHD and Travis Hamonic each night I think I'd cry lmao
