You realize you just put the devils in a tough spot to resign players with that 6m instead of have that extra 2.6. Whats the deal with ppl being so inlove with Markstorm to NJ, the Devils need defense also if vitek or schmid can be what Darcy was in the Ave cup win. they can win the cup.

As a Flames fan, I would not call that buying low and I'd party if we got that
Buying low would be something like Vanecek, a 3rd and decent prospect,

It is still very early in the season, but Markstrom is 4th in the league in GSAx behind only Swayman, Johansson, and Demko, (although Markstrom is only 38th in GSAx at 5v5), while Vanecek is 61st out of 69 goalies (62nd at 5v5)

Still makes more sense to wait until later in the season though
