a 4th and a 5th is not the proper incentive to take on literal CAP HELL with Campbell. Allen will regress but hes been a top goalie this season.

So you clear $1.15M for 2 years then Campbell is still under contract 2 years later.

That's a $12.3M clearing of cap space over 4 years.

So you 1. unload $12M, 2. get a statistically better goalie on a worse team, 3. Get a goalie who can play more games, and 4. Do it for a 4th and 5th...

I'd visit your family doctor for a checkup. Any deal unloading Campbell would involve a packaged 1st, unless you want Vlasic and Blackwood.
