Reilly wasn’t drafted by the Wild. He used that 4 year college loophole to become an UFA and then chose to sign with the Wild. Semantics…

Correct, semantics.

Because he WAS drafted by Minnesota.

Didn't sign an ELC with them.

Became UFA.

And then signed with Minnesota anyway because he didn't get the offers he had expected to get.

So, yeah. Semantics.

I just want to throw out the fact that he was picked in the 2011 4th round by Columbus, not Minnesota. Click his name (or this link) and it's right there at the top. Maybe you're thinking of the fact that he's from here and played at the U?
