That will definitely not happen. As someone mentioned the first round pick would need to be reversed.

Canucks easily decline. Beauvillier doesn’t have a ton of value right now, but he still has some. Even if he had no value, you’re asking for a 1st + taking a major cap dump for Xhekaj, which he simply isn’t worth. Armia wouldn’t make the Canucks roster and probably wouldn’t even make their AHL top 6, given the Canucks cap situation and abundance of wingers they’d want at least a 2nd, if not a 1st to take on Armia. They certainly aren’t giving up a 1st for him unless you add something like Barron+ or Reinbacher, which simply wouldn’t happen.

While I agree with you that the Canucks aren't doing this, I don't think it costs a 1st to dump Armia just because his buyout is so low. I think maybe a 2nd or a good prospect does it but I still don't think the Canucks would be looking to acquire him
