half cap Anderson... I would make this trade from the Leafs side of things. I doubt Montreal does though. I know he has had a rough start to the year but he is easily worth 2.75m. HUGE and fast and can score. His skill set ends there but he would compliment our core very nicely.

it's not happening. Reaves is one of the worst NHL players, worse than a lot of rookies. He hasn't even shown he'll step up when needed. Which he'll be paid for for the next 3 years. No thanks. Pezzetta is worth more.

Can't argue with this. I wouldn't be surprised if a half cap Anderson fetched more than a 1st round pick. Some silly Jeanotesque package even.

If leafs want to take the contract off Habs hand, then take it all at full cap of 5.5m
That's not a deal for MTL they are gonna still have to pay the same amount as leafs
