Where is this rumor? This makes no sense for VAN in any way shape or form.

Nylander has been incredible this year. I would be sad if they traded him. In saying that, this package would be very nice if they did trade him.

I also assume there is zero rumour. This seems so far fetched and unlikely.

This seems like a zero credibility source.

Leafs decline that makes the team worse and they’re trying to win

Well this trade absolutely benefits TOR, but not VAN so much. Boeser is having a very good season so far.

Considering Boeser is playing AS WELL as Nylander right now, is cost-controlled, not to mention TOR gets a 1st and a 1st round pick from 2022? TOR would be insane not to take this deal. VAN is the team that would reject this one.

Nylander is great, but it makes no sense for the Canucks to give up this much for him. Especially with how well Boeser is playing to start the year

I guess that’s a fair point but how long can he keep this up for?

Not to mention the cap implications of both Nylander and Pettersson.

He's 26 years old, so who knows. He's now in his prime years. Regardless, if you're getting a 26 year old 50 point player who's cost-controlled? He's helping you guys while giving you cap space moving forward to build the lineup. Not to mention you're getting a top quality prospect and a 1st rounder. No offense to VAN fans, but there's a good chance they come back down to earth and that 1st round pick could wind up being a mid to early pick.

You also have to keep in mind that any trade for Nylander will likely not be getting another Nylander in return. Trades like this rarely wind up how fans like. The best TOR can really hope for in any trade for Nylander IS a player like Boeser, so getting quality futures in addition is a huge win.

laugh There's no rumor linking William Nylander to Vancouver. Besides that offer would easily be beat.
