Description
Cannon right shot from the left side wall on the Powerplay gives another threat to what should be one of the best powerplays in the last 20 years. Also and granite I know it was just an all star game but really think him and Sid had great chemistry in the game they played together would love to see 87 and 59's playmaking abilities shine with a pure finisher.

Canucks decline, trading Boes rn would destroy the chemistry in the locker room

Why would the Canucks consider this? Rakell and POJ are both meh

What?? Are the Canucks the Pens farm team or something?? Where is the RD the Canucks are looking for?? Pens should have gone after Boeser in the summer, when he was cheaper....now they actually have to pay. BTW Rakell is not an asset, neither is POJ.

Hate to break it to you, but 10 goals in 12 games have certainly ensured that Boeser is not going anywhere

Rakell is snakebit right now, but he's FAR from Meh. That said, this trade doesn't make any sense for VAN.

I mean career wise Rakell he doesn’t impress me and starting this season he hasn’t produced…yet

He's been money for the Pens since being acquired, but yeah, he's snakebit as f*ck right now, but he'll come out of it. Regardless, for VAN, this doesn't really do anything. Removing recency bias of Boeser's hot start, Rakell and Boeser are fairly similar when it comes to production, but Boeser being 26, entering his prime years, there's definitely a higher ceiling.

So now that Brock is one of the league's leading goal scorers everyone wants to trade for him and thinks the Canucks will trade him for scraps (Rakell's age and contract give him little value right now). Y'all had your chance this past summer wink

He's been a weapon on the PP and a solid contributor on the Canucks hard match line. He isn't going anywhere unless you blow the Canucks away with an offer.

Canucks decline. Boeser is an extremely important player both on and off the ice right now, trading him would destroy the team from within. He's also way better than Rakell currently, and POJ isn't near enough to come close to convincing Vancouver to downgrade from Boeser to Rakell.

Adding POJ to the trade is a huge negative for Vancouver….. you’d have to throw in 1st for someone to take POJ (despite the media who tried to convince idiots he was good)
