Description

Stevie Y was ruthless with Ott and Debrincat.
Dorion made a huge mistake giving in. He had DBCat as RFA. GMs need to be tougher on their players.
Zadorov is a mid-level player in the league, but GMs have to stop worrying about these guys.
Look at Debrusk in Beentown. Let them simmer if they have to.
If another one of these guys goes to Stevie Y Ill lose my mind

Calgary should trade Zadorov regardless of his trade request. He's a pending UFA and someone will overpay for him, it's preferable to trade him than lose him for nothing.

This is going to be as bad as the Chiarot trade for whomever makes it. Zadorov is a mediocre dman who lays big hits, so he'll get way overvalued.

In the hockey world, it's not a big deal. Starting around junior hockey, nearly eveyone gets called their last name with y or eee sound on the end.

He’s going to go for more than he should.

Players like him are so over-valued at the deadline. His price and interest is only going to increase.

At the end of last season, he said he wanted to stay with the Flames. They haven’t talked extension with him. I think there’s some hurt feelings, likely the root of the request.

If he goes to Toronto, they almost have to give up a 1st because they traded away all the 2nd’s.

I think Toronto is unlikely. Klingberg would have to waive. Maybe if there’s an understanding that Calgary would flip him.

Exactly! I think he's a good third pairing guy, not great second pairing guy. People don't see the big hit misses that turn into odd man rushes against either.
