As a Leaf fan I couldn't be less interested in this series of offers.

I don't see trading Marner & Minten much less Brodie & 2 goalies to get back 1 goalie particularly one with no term creating a potential cap issue for next year. Moving Hildeby with his cheap contract makes the crease pretty thin.
Why buyout Reaves? Demote him for $200k cap hit then offer him his contract plus $200k to retire and be a pro scout. It takes him off the books and Bell/Roger's have VERY deep pockets owning the richest hockey franchise.

Brodie and Jarnkrok are there to accommodate the cap but are both good assets. Brodie is a top 4 D. Also sent our top F prospect and our top G prospect. Don’t think it’s a bag of garbage.

I just think you have to be realistic with what you do. Players have these contracts because they don't want to relocate. It's like playing chess and saying during the game l want my bishop to move like the queen. Just think of the NMC contracts for what they are. All in good fun though just my opinion.
