I would reject. Bourgault and an unprotected 24 first for two pending UFAs is WAY too much. Montreals goaltenders are the wrong targets for Edmonton anyway in my opinion. Personally, I wouldn’t give more than a third for Montembeault, and a second for Monahan.

For two pending FA's? EDM uses those assets to move Campbell or acquire a legit goalie/defenceman who fill that void for the foreseeable future

Waste of assets for Edmonton. An average backup goalie and monahan isn’t good

Holland has to make this season a success as it could be his last anywhere. That pick is absolutely on the table, it just has to be the right deal (and no this isn't it).

Actually pretty good for Montreal and that IS the equivalent of two 1sts with one potentially being better than any 1st they would get elsewhere (later in the round because it's from a guaranteed contender).

I don’t believe that
montembault is a great starter with a bad mtl offense and defence edm offense and defence is far more greater then mtls by a mile the only reason edm is tankin rn is because of goal tending
Monahan is a top 9 forward who has great upside for edm he can run the pp as the bumper run the 3rd line turn aging vets into somewhat there primeselves

Both these contracts are great for edm and we can take cap back with better picks and prospects with 60 games left ik these 2 alone can turn 15+ games into wins

Imnt saying its a no but ik that if Edmontons pick is from 25-32 and xavier b is going back to mtl that alone prob gets u montebeault from mtls side who sees him as there future starter and his advanced stats prove hes a legit starter

Maybe send mcleod holloway 1rst for monty and monahan if or switch mcleod with fogeole and a 3rd for more cap

I'd temper your expectations. Goaltenders just don't net that kind of return. Kuemper had significantly better stats on an arguably worse team for a late 1st, Timmins, and only received a 3rd because Colorado won the cup and that was a high price at the time.
