That Saros trade is just completely awful L. OVER PAY. Drouin is a bust on his third team he is soft why ????????? Drouin might not even be in the nhl next year and if he is it will be for 1million or less have you even watched him this season ??? IF YOU GIVE nYLANDER 12MIL WHAT DO YOU GIVE BEDARD ? Team will be back in cap hell within 2-3 years

Pass on Drouin and big pass on the Saros trade, but the rest looks pretty good. CHI has a great young goalie prospect lighting up the AHL in Drew Commesso and will probably just ride out Soderblom and vet FAs until hes ready.

That Nylander contract is ridiculous

I hope none of this happens. But, yeah, Bedard and Nylander would probably be fun to watch.

It makes absolutely no sense for a rebuilding team to trade three top two round picks and another prospect who was a 1st round pick for a goalie, especially when they have three young goaltending prospects; two of whom were 2nd round picks; working their way through the system.

Yeah. For sure. I wouldn't trade a single 1st for a goalie, unless it were guaranteed to be a late 1st round pick an we were already in contention and an elite goalie was the missing piece. But, even then, goalie failures can be a good indication of other issues and aren't necessarily the goalies fault.

Not sure if nylander comes to rebuilding team for that cheap but who knows
