Jackets aren't going to move Voronkov who was just considering returning to Russia because he was homesick. Even without him in the trade, there is no incentive for the jackets to do this deal.

Have you watched Andrew Peeke? Probably not because he lives in the press box. Actually watch a game before yapping.

Why does every Leafs fan want Peeke? He is not good.

Also apparently Voronkov desperately wants to go home, so not ideal.

Voronkov has had a decent campaign as a rookie so far with CBJ, with the homesick rumours I'm not sure how he'd feel about being traded from a team with a lot of his countrymen to a new city and group in Toronto. Might just end up going home if anything.

Jackets aren’t moving Voronkov. You can have Peeke unretained for a mid round pick

There is a reason you have 692 posts and 5 likes. Have to love the classic trade for a guy and then say he sucks.

Voronkovs agent last night said he had a complete 180 and is now fully invested with cbj. Teammates rallied around him and he seems to be loving life again.

Agent said he has done a 180. Read the reporting from last night.

Uh, Jackets do this trade in a heartbeat if Voronkov isn't involved.

Voronkov isn't going anywhere though as others have said. He's looking like a legit power forward whose neutral zone game and ability to disrupt breakouts are incredible. He also just said last night that he's committed to giving the NHL a fair shake after speaking with friends and family in Russia and having the team rally around him.
