Lower the price to a 2nd and NYR probably accept. Seems like he got off to a hot start and cooled down

question for sens fans, is next summer going to be the same as the last 2? you know talk mad crap and how the teams going to be good, and then miss the playoffs AGAIN

I'm cool with a 2nd and meh prospect that can upgrade to a 1st should they go to the ECF again. But not a 1st straight up like last year for him

Agree. Last year's 1st was a totally different situation anyways because we were dumping Blais back to St Louis, we still kept our own (earlier) pick and sent them Dallas' pick, and we got Mikkola too who was a valued piece for the team. I'd do a 2nd + any prospect would be on the table outside of Othmann, Gabe Perrault, Rempe, and Cuylle (if Cuylle is still considered a "prospect" and not a full time NHLer by this point)
