Montreal should take that although their fans will say he's worth a first, he's not want this is probably more than he's worth.
Rodrigues >>> Rakell. Why are they adding a pick? Not that they would even consider something like this.
Why would Minny do this? They would get alot more if they wanted to trade him, which they don't hence why they extended him.

Harkins and Joseph don't have value from our perspective ... but I don't think Monahan returns a 1st either
Maybe with condition(s)
A 2nd + 3rd I would be happy for Monahan (no retention)

Yep - I'm sure that PO and Harkin have some value... but for a rebuilding team like the habs, they would only be crowding the already over-flowing LHD and bottom 6.

We need prospect or picks at this points.

Can you defend this statement? Rakell scored 28 goals last year with an expected goals of 33. Rakell had more hits, more points, and was better in most defensive metrics.

How is ERod better, let alone >>> better?

So this year I have to defend Rakell. Last year I went blue defending Rust.

Pens fans need to chill. Rakell scored 28 goals last year and is snake bit so far this year. He has 0 goals but should have 4-5. I suspect he will end the year with 20ish goals. He is a top 6 winger and will find his game. Just like Rust.

I'd expect a conditional 1st (if a 1st is available at all, lots of teams went in hard last season). He should be at the high end of wish lists for contenders simply for his faceoffs and already low cap hit, but teams that are extremely tight can pay for him to be retained and fit him in where that might not be possible with other options. A cap hit under $1M would make him appealing to nearly all contenders so he should be in demand.
